Marinus A. Maaskant

Marinus Maaskant is founder and Managing Director of Maaskant Consulting BV. During his study for auditing he became a tax auditor at the ministry of finance (1973-1980) and graduated in 1983. At that time he was working with the predecessor of ABN AMRO Bank as Operations Manager. Other positions he held in that bank: Internal auditor/Managing Director Training and development/Managing Director Securities processing and CEO of a joint venture between Mellon Financial and ABN AMRO Bank NV.

In 2001 Marinus Maaskant left ABN AMRO Bank to start a program management company Tracktion and he is still managing partner of that company. In addition he is CEO of Maaskant consulting and is an executive coach for CEOs of different companies in Europe. Other activities are: Microfinance projects: Maaskant is involved as a board member in microfinance organizations in Georgia,  zerbaijan and Kenya. In these countries and others like Cambodia, the Balkans, Vietnam and Thailand he did projects with microfinance organizations, projects in terms of leadership/governance and strategy setting. Furthermore Maaskant lives in China and develops projects between European and Chinese entrepreneurs.
